Application Requirements:

• A portfolio of approximately 24 to 36 examples of the applicants artistic skill set and dedications (e.g. oil/acrylic painting, watercolor, pencil, pen & ink, digital drawing, etc.). This portfolio should display a moderate to advance understanding of design & layout, anatomy (human, animal & plant), coloring theory, shading & light source, drawing perspective and style. There is minimal classical artistic training at HOI University. Any initiate should already have a more-than-basic proficiency within their craft and an intimate familiarity with all the mediums and tools associated with it (pens, pencils, brushes, etc.).

• A one page standard resume including all contact information as well as any relevant experience (employment, service job experience, high school and/or college diploma, clubs, mentorships, certifications, etc).

• Bloodborne Pathogen Training Certification (this can be acquired online @ https://nationalcprfoundation.com/courses/standard-bloodborne-pathogens-2/ )

• In-Person or Online Interview (this will include portfolio critique and assessment). This is as much an interview for us as it is for you, so have some questions prepared.
